If you have two $50 codes, describe them as two cards. Their combined face value is $100, but that does not automatically make the offer identical to one $100 card. For another amount, use the Steam-to-naira calculator and confirm that the amount and format are supported.
Why the number can differ from another Steam quote
First compare the details behind the number. An offer for a US physical card may not cover an emailed Wallet Code. A GBP 100 card is not a USD 100 card, even though both say 100. And a screenshot from last week may show a price that is no longer available.
The table does not separate physical cards from codes. Ask which format the estimate applies to rather than assuming every Steam product receives the same price. A missing or unsupported option also does not mean that the card has a zero balance.
When comparing buyers, ask for the amount payable after any applicable charges, using the same country, currency, card format and denomination. A higher headline rate is not useful if it was quoted for a different card.
How to calculate a $100 Steam estimate
If the buyer quotes a rate in naira per US dollar, multiply that rate by 100. At a hypothetical rate of ₦1,000 per dollar, the calculation is 100 × ₦1,000 = ₦100,000. That example explains the arithmetic; it is not today’s Steam offer.

A retailer may deliver a Wallet Code on a card, receipt or by email. A digital gift sent through Steam’s own gifting service is added to a friend’s Steam Wallet after they accept it. Do not describe that account-to-account gift as an unused code you can hand to a buyer.
Likewise, an unused $100 code is different from $100 already redeemed into a Steam Wallet. Do not redeem a code just to test it before selling it: that changes what you have. If the value is already in an account, do not list the original code as unused or send anyone your Steam login details.
